The MILESEEY HOME GLOW-UP Challenge (the "Challenge") is a home renovation challenge organized by Shenzhen Mileseey Technology Co., Ltd. (the "Sponsor" or "MILESEEY") for global users. To uphold the principles of fairness, justice, and transparency, and to select the best submissions worldwide, the following participation terms are established. Before participating in the Challenge, please ensure that you have carefully read and fully understood the MILESEEY HOME GLOW-UP Challenge Privacy Statement (the "Privacy Statement") and this MILESEEY HOME GLOW-UP Awards Challenge Participation Agreement (this "Agreement"), and agree to abide by the relevant rules. You have the right to choose whether to participate in this Challenge. Submitting your participation application and uploading your submission on the official Challenge page  (https://mileseeytools.com/pages/s50-homeglowup-challenge ) signifies that (i) you confirm you have read and understood all provisions of this Agreement; (ii) you have the full civil capacity (are at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to enter into a binding agreement, or you are a legal entity or other organization duly established and legally operating businesses or other activities under the laws of your location; and (iii) you accept the legal binding force of these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not upload any content to the official Challenge page.

  1. Eligibility
    1.1 You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence (which is at least 18 years of age in most regions). If you are under 18 or have not reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before participating.
    1.2 Your submission must be original and not authorized for commercial use by any organization or individual (whether paid or unpaid).
    1.3 Submissions that have won awards in other competitions or are currently participating in other competitions will not be accepted. If your submission is submitted to another competition after being submitted to this Challenge, it will be deemed as currently participating in another competition.
    1.4 You will be disqualified under any of the following circumstances:
    a. The jury determines that your submission involves plagiarism.
    b. You are found ineligible during the judging process.
    c. You provide false information or violate relevant laws and regulations.
    d. You infringe upon any legitimate rights and interests of a third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and personal rights.
    e. You submit any content or engage in any behavior that is false, defamatory, infringing, harmful, pornographic, offensive, bullying, harassing, scandalous, hateful, inciting, threatening, profane, obscene, privacy-violating, or otherwise inappropriate, including but not limited to promoting illegal activities, containing explicit sexual descriptions, advocating violence, and any discriminatory, illegal content or behavior that may cause or actually cause damage to personal property or may give rise to civil or criminal liability under applicable law.
  2. Challenge Rules
    2.1 Challenge Period

    Submissions outside the above period will not be considered.
    2.2 How to Enter
    You can submit your participation application directly via the official Challenge page (https://mileseeytools.com/pages/s50-homeglowup-challenge-signup), or by clicking the redirect link within the activity advertisement on the Hometalk platform to access and complete your submission on the official Challenge page. Do not submit entries via email or direct/private message (DM/PM), as such submissions will not be accepted. You need to register, log into your personal account, and authorize us to use your relevant information to uniquely identify you and facilitate the upload, viewing, and management of your submission. For this purpose, we will collect your real name, email address, social platform account, entry post link, etc. This information will be used solely for this Challenge and not for other purposes.
    Participants who access the Challenge via the redirect link on the Hometalk platform and encounter issues during registration, process participation, benefit fulfillment, or any other aspect of the Challenge must contact the Sponsor directly. Hometalk acts solely in a technical cooperation role by providing the link display and user redirection channel. Hometalk bears no responsibility for consultation, issue resolution, activity costs, or any other liabilities related to the Challenge. Hometalk platform does not hold any usage rights to the videos submitted by users. Without the separate written authorization of the Sponsor, Hometalk is not permitted to use, disseminate, or create derivative works from such content in any form.
    2.3 Submission Requirements
    All submissions must involve the use of the MILESEEY S50 Laser Distance Measurer in the home renovation; the product can be either purchased by you or obtained by you through the Product Tester activity.
    Participating in this Challenge requires publishing content on social platforms according to the following requirements:
    (i) Publish a public post: Publish a public post on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook in the form of a short or long video, showcasing the home "glow-up" renovation content (e.g., house refurbishment, redecoration, room upgrade, etc.). The post may include before-and-after comparison scenes or record your current progress and describe your renovation ideas.
    (ii) Add specified hashtags:
    • Mandatory Hashtags: The following hashtags must be added in the post's title or description:

 #50KHomeGlowUpChallenge, #MILESEEYTOOLS, #MILESEEYS50 and @mileseeytools, to ensure the Sponsor can accurately identify the entry.
• Recommended Hashtags: Adding other activity-related hashtags (e.g., #HomeMakeoverWithS50) is encouraged to increase exposure.
You must ensure your submission meets the requirements of this Agreement and relevant rules; otherwise, it may fail the review and be ineligible for judging. If special circumstances necessitate adjustments to the above rules, the Sponsor will notify participants 72 hours in advance via an official website announcement. In such cases, please follow the latest rules published by the Sponsor.
2.4 Participation Rules
(1) Submission Rules: Each participant may submit multiple entries but can ultimately receive only one reward.
(2) Category Setting and Qualification: This Challenge has two categories: Professional Category and DIY Category. Each entry can only choose one category.
• Professional Category: Open to independent contractors or small renovation teams. Participants must demonstrate professional capability in providing home renovation services to clients. Business proof materials (e.g., official website, industry license, desensitized service invoice/work order) must be prepared during registration. The Sponsor will verify qualifications as deemed necessary. Those unable to provide valid proof will be disqualified.
• DIY Category: Open to homeowners/tenants, limited to personally completed home renovation projects.
(3) Submission Review and Selection Process:
• Preliminary Review Stage: Submitted entries will undergo an eligibility preliminary review by staff. Only entries passing this review will enter the selection stage.
• Final Review Stage: After the submission deadline (December 9, 2025), the organizing committee and preliminary review jury will select outstanding entries from those passing the preliminary review for the final judging.
• Please note: If you voluntarily request to withdraw from the Challenge before December 9, 2025, while your entry has passed the review, you will forfeit eligibility for awards.
(4) Judging Criteria: The final selection will be executed by an expert jury, based on a comprehensive assessment according to the following dimensions and weights, ensuring a fair, professional, and rigorous process.
• Renovation Effect & Creative Practicality (35%): Evaluates the aesthetic appeal, functional optimization, and innovative solutions of the renovation outcome.
• Measurement Rigor & Narrative Quality (25%): Assesses the accuracy of measurement methods/tools, clarity of the renovation process description, and narrative completeness.
• Video Production Quality (20%): Evaluates visual presentation aspects like framing, editing fluency, and effectiveness of information delivery.
• Public Engagement (20%): Based on the entry's natural interaction data ranking on the platform (e.g., number of comments, likes, views). (Participants are prohibited from manipulating interaction data through vote manipulation, using bots, etc. Violators will be disqualified and bear corresponding responsibilities.)
2.5 Awards & Prize Pool
(1) Total Prize Pool Management
The total prize pool is capped at USD 50,000 (combined for Professional Category and DIY Category). The specific distribution ratio, number of winners, and award names will be dynamically announced on the official Challenge page. The prize pool may be adjusted dynamically based on the quality and quantity of submissions and judging results to ensure fair and reasonable fund allocation.
(2) Winner Notification Process
• Winners List Announcement: The final winners list will be announced simultaneously on the Challenge official website and social media official accounts within 72 hours after the judging concludes.
• Notification Timeliness: Winners will receive an official notification email from the Sponsor via the email address provided during registration within 10-15 working days after the winners list announcement. The email will contain instructions for claiming the award and the list of required materials.
(3) Prize Distribution Mechanism
• Distribution Prerequisite: The Sponsor will initiate the distribution process after receiving the winner's complete claim materials (including valid bank account information, identification documents, tax declaration forms meeting home country/region requirements, etc.).
• Distribution Cycle: Funds will be distributed within 90 working days after confirming the materials are correct, via USD wire transfer or other secure payment methods designated by the Sponsor. Cross-border transfers may involve bank fees, which shall be borne by the winner.
• Tax Treatment: All prize amounts are pre-tax. Winners are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes, such as personal income tax, value-added tax, as required by law, as well as any potential additional fees for cross-border transfers.
(4) Prize Substitution & Forfeiture Handling
• Prize Substitution Rule: If non-cash prizes cannot be delivered due to legal restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or force majeure, the Sponsor reserves the right to provide substitutes of equivalent value (including but not limited to cash equivalents, other physical prizes), with the substitute value being comparable to the original prize.
• Forfeiture Disposal Mechanism: If a winner does not respond within 30 days of receiving the winner notification, is found ineligible, or fails to submit complete claim materials within the specified time limit, the award will be deemed automatically forfeited. The Sponsor reserves the right to reallocate the forfeited award to the next eligible candidate in line.
2.6 Submission Requirements & Prohibited Content
(1) Originality & Rights Ownership Standards
• Work Originality: Submissions must be created by the participant themselves. Plagiarism, appropriation, or AI-generated content is strictly prohibited. If involving collaborative creation, all creators' identities and roles must be clearly indicated upon submission.
• Rights Licensing Requirements: (i) Portrait Rights: Any identifiable individuals (including background individuals) appearing in the work must have provided written authorization from themselves; scenes involving minors require additional written permission from their legal guardian(s). (ii) Third-party Content Authorization: If the work includes third-party materials (e.g., music, images, video clips), valid usage authorization proof (e.g., music copyright license, stock material purchase receipt) must be provided.
(2) Safety Compliance Guidelines
• Safe Operation Standards: The renovation process demonstrated in the work must strictly adhere to local building codes and safe operating procedures (e.g., correct use of the laser distance measurer, wearing protective gear). Demonstrating dangerous operations without safety measures (e.g., working at height without protection, improper use of power tools) is prohibited.
• Platform Rule Adaptation: The content of the work must comply with the community guidelines of the chosen publishing platform (e.g., TikTok content policy, YouTube community guidelines) to avoid blocking or limiting due to platform rule violations.
(3) Prohibited Content
• Illegal/Non-compliant Content: Including but not limited to illegal activities, hate speech, violent/terrorist content, inciting speech, fraudulent information, misleading medical/construction advice, etc.
• Sensitive Content Restrictions: Prohibited content includes explicit pornography, doxxing, privacy invasion, animal cruelty, demonstrations of dangerous behavior, or any content likely to cause controversy or harm the rights of others.
• Commercial Violations: Strictly prohibited are commercial spam, unauthorized advertising, manipulation of interaction data (e.g., inflating metrics, bot interactions), etc.
2.7 Violation Review & Appeal
The Sponsor reserves the right to conduct multiple rounds of review of submissions, including but not limited to content authenticity verification, rights proof verification, and safety risk assessment. For non-compliant works, the Sponsor has the right to take measures such as rejection, removal, disqualification, or pursuit of legal liability at any stage of the Challenge. Appeal Channel: If a participant disagrees with the review result, they may submit a written appeal via the official channel within 72 hours of receiving notification. The Sponsor will review and respond within 5 working days.

  1. Intellectual Property & Other Rights
    3.1 Upon participation, you must ensure that you hold independent, complete, clear, and undisputed copyright to your work; your submitted entry must not have been authorized for commercial use by any organization or individual (whether paid or unpaid), must be your original creation, and must not plagiarize or misappropriate others' work. You also guarantee that your submission does not infringe upon any rights of third parties, including intellectual property, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, etc. You shall bear all legal responsibilities arising from any disputes related to violations of the above guarantees, and the Sponsorand event organizers are not involved. The Sponsorhas the right to disqualify you and require you to return all prizes and benefits obtained from the Sponsor and its affiliates based on the submission, while also compensating for all losses caused to the Sponsor and its affiliates.
    3.2 Participants agree to grant the Sponsor and its affiliates a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use the submission (including your name, portrait, voice, and personal bio appearing in the work) for the Challenge and for the Sponsor's product and brand advertising, marketing, and promotion activities for a period of two (2) years from the date of submission, including but not limited to use in global online media, digital content, outdoor media, and other marketing activities. In view of the foregoing, the Sponsor does not need to separately notify the participant, obtain consent, or pay additional fees when using the participant's submission.
    3.3 The Sponsor and its affiliates have the permanent, royalty-free, and exclusive right to use or authorize any third party to use the winning submission or its derivative works worldwide, including but not limited to development, reproduction, adaptation, editing, publication, distribution, display, performance, distribution, sale, or use in any product or service globally, such as secondary development into themes, wallpapers, promotional merchandise, and all media channels. Derivative works created by the Sponsor and its affiliates are protected by local copyright laws, and the copyright belongs to the Sponsor. Furthermore, the aforementioned works can be used for promotion in any marketing and distribution scenario (covering all media and carriers, including but not limited to online, mobile internet, corporate official websites, apps, Douyin, posters, EDM, etc., both dynamic and static carriers, printed materials, exhibitions, retail stores, roadshows, outdoor media, etc.). You agree to sign documents reasonably required by the Sponsor to perfect the above rights. You declare and guarantee that you have obtained all necessary permissions (including permissions from identifiable individuals and relevant rights holders in the work) to grant the above rights, and that the Sponsor's use of your submission will not infringe any third-party rights.
  2. Responsibilities & Obligations
    4.1 Once submitted during the participation period, your work is deemed to indicate your agreement and compliance with the Challenge regulations. You are responsible for resolving any disputes arising from your violation of this Agreement and shall compensate the Sponsorand its affiliates for any losses incurred.
    4.2 You shall not submit any work of the following nature, or engage in any activity of the following nature during the Challenge: false, defamatory, infringing, harmful, pornographic, offensive, bullying, harassing, scandalous, hateful, inciting, threatening, profane, obscene, privacy-violating, or otherwise objectionable, including but not limited to promoting illegal activities, containing explicit sexual descriptions, advocating violence, and any discriminatory, illegal content or behavior that causes or may cause personal or property damage or may give rise to civil or criminal liability under applicable law.
    4.3 During the participation period, you shall not transfer or license your submission to any third party, nor use the submission to participate in other activities identical or similar to this Challenge. Otherwise, the Sponsorhas the right to disqualify you and revoke any award eligibility.
    4.4 If you do not agree to the content of Clause 3 "Intellectual Property & Other Rights" of this Agreement, you will be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn from participation. If you revoke the copyright transfer or dissemination authorization mentioned in Clause 3 during participation, you will be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn and forfeit eligibility for corresponding awards and prizes. If the prize has already been distributed, the Sponsor has the right to reclaim it. You acknowledge and agree that once promotional materials containing your submission and personal bio, etc., are published online/offline, it is difficult to remove them from relevant channels. Therefore, the Sponsor is not obligated to remove or take down such materials and may continue to retain them. Already produced, distributed, or circulating marketing materials and derivative products can continue to be used, deployed, and sold until naturally depleted.
    4.5 The author(s) of winning entries are obligated to assist and cooperate with the Sponsor in using the winning work for commercial purposes such as development, production, and sales, including but not limited to providing written permission for the winning work, copyright registration certificates, or other proof of ownership materials.
    4.6 You agree and confirm that the personal information you provide is true and valid, including your name, contact number, email address, bank account number, personal ID or passport information, and mailing address, for the Sponsor to contact you and distribute prizes/awards. The Sponsor collects and processes your personal information only for the above purposes and within the scope permitted by applicable laws and the Privacy Statement for this Challenge. Please ensure the provided personal information is complete and accurate. After announcing the winners, the Sponsor will contact the winners to verify registration information. If the prize cannot be distributed due to incomplete or incorrect winner personal information, it will be deemed that the winner has automatically forfeited the right to the prize, and the Sponsor will not reissue the prize.
  3. Breach & Indemnification
    5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
    (1) Your submission or your breach of this Agreement;
    (2) Any disputes arising between you and other participants;
    (3) Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations;
    (4) Any allegations that your work (or the Sponsor's use of it) infringes, misappropriates, or violates any third-party rights.
    5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you participate in this Challenge at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, submissions are provided "as is," and the Sponsormakes no express or implied warranties regarding the Challenge or any prize. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Sponsorshall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from participation in the Challenge or receipt of a prize, whether based on contract, tort, or other legal theory, even if the Sponsor has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the Sponsor's total liability exceed the value of the highest-value single prize in this Challenge.
  4. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
    6.1 Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails within 30 days, either party has the right to submit the dispute to the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) for arbitration conducted according to the effective arbitration rules of that commission at the time of submission. The place of arbitration shall be Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, and the language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties.
    6.2 Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
  5. Disclaimer
    7.1 You acknowledge that ideas and/or concepts used in submissions by other participants may be similar to those in your own submission. You understand and agree not to make any claim against the Sponsorbased on any such similarity.
    7.2 This Challenge is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook.You agree to release the aforementioned platforms from any and all liability related to this Challenge.
    7.3 Your use and browsing of the website are at your own risk. The Sponsor, its affiliates, or any party/partner involved in creating, producing, or delivering the website shall not be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising from accessing, using, browsing, or downloading any materials, data, text, images, or audio from the website, including but not limited to damage to computer equipment or virus infection, or other damage to property. Apart from the foregoing, all content on the website is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty of any kind, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  6. Miscellaneous
    8.1 The Sponsorhas the right to verify participant eligibility, request supplementary documents, and disqualify submissions that are late, incomplete, ineligible, non-compliant, or deceptive. You shall bear all losses and consequences if your submission fails to be submitted successfully or fails review due to your personal reasons.
    8.2 If the Sponsorneeds to suspend or terminate this Challenge due to fraud, unforeseen technical, security, or business reasons, we will make our best effort to notify you beforehand, including but not limited to announcements or emails. Please pay attention.
    8.3 If the Sponsor adjusts this Agreement (including material changes) and considers that the adjustments will materially impact your rights and obligations, the Sponsor will notify you through appropriate means. If you continue participating in this Challenge after the relevant adjustments are published, it will be deemed that you agree to and accept the relevant adjustments and updates and are willing to be legally bound by them.
    8.4 Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to create any partnership or agency relationship between you and the Sponsor. Neither party has the authority to incur any liability, debt, or cost in the name of or on behalf of the other party, or to enter into any contract or other commitment.
    8.5 If any term of this Agreement is deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable by a court or other competent authority with jurisdiction, that term shall be deemed deleted from this Agreement, but the remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect.
    8.6 Privacy Policy: Collected participant personal information will only be used for Challenge management, contacting potential winners, and prize distribution, specifically following the Sponsor's Privacy Policy.
